In 1960 Alfred and Christine Schneckenreither established the
transport company, which is now located south of Linz, directly at
the A1 autobahn.
In 1970 the firm began to offer the full range of services of a
forwarding company. Currently, the second generation - managing
partners Wolfgang and Alfred Schneckenreither - are responsible for
the further growth of the firm.
The History of the Schneckenreither Group:
- 1960: Establishment of the transport company
- 1970: Establishment of forwarding company
- 1972: Construction of the Ansfelden site (today's Head Office)
- 1980: Establishment of the Wiener Neudorf branch
- 1982: Establishment of the Graz branch
- 1986: Establishment of the Klagenfurt branch
- 1992: Establishment of the forwarding company in the Czech Republic (Prague)
- 1993: Setting up of a parcel logistics company in Ansfelden
Establishment of forwarding companies in Hungary (Budapest) and Slovenia (Ljubljana)

Entry into the air freight sector with SAC, Hörsching
